Super Sunday: Manchester United vs Chelsea – Premier League Preview

Chelsea travels to Old Trafford, Manchester to take on Manchester United this Sunday in what will definitely be a grudge match. United are positioned on second, three points above Chelsea who are on fourth place.

It will be a tough game especially for Conte’s men who are coming off a 1-1 draw in their midweek UEFA champions league match against FC Barcelona. After which he said in a press conference “We must be focused for the next game and to prepare in the right way because we are talking about a very strong team with fantastic players.”

Manchester United were also outplayed by Sevilla in their midweek champions league match, as the Spanish team had 25 goal attempts compare to United’s 6.

Manchester United

Ander Herrera is ruled out for the next few weeks due to a muscular injury he picked up during United champions league match against Sevilla in midweek.

Phil Jones, Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo will also miss the match while Eric Bailly is back with the squad and will likely start.

 

Chelsea

Conte has no fresh injury concerns, as David Luiz, Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko remain unavailable. While Gary Cahill who missed their champions league match against Barcelona will be hoping to get a starting slot here.
