Impey wins Tour Down Under, while Dlamini crowned King of the Mountains

South African Daryl Impey (Mitchelton-Scott) finished top of the overall classification to win the Tour Down Under, while Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka’s Nicholas Dlamini triumphed in the King of the Mountains competition.

Andre Greipel (Lotto-Soudal) won the final 90km criterium-style stage in downtown Adelaide. For Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka, it was all about conserving the third place overall of Tom-Jelte Slagter and ensuring Dlamini finished safely in the bunch to be crowned King of the Mountains.

The “Africa’s Team” also finished second in the team classification, capping off a brilliant six days in the Australian heat.
